Good customer service. A little overpriced but that's probably because of the convenient location right off the freeway. I ordered a chili cheese dog with onion rings for $12. Food came out quickly. It was a very large serving so I couldn't really finish it. I skipped the bun because I had a hard time cutting it with the butter knife despite it being covered by the chili.
Homestyle cooked food. The coffee, not so hot. My husband and I ordered the 10 oz rib eye to share. The steak portion was enough for 2 but the sides weren't. The vegetable was sorta julienne carrots which were not sliced thin enough and not tender. FYI: based on how strongly the server/manager advised us to split the order I think they have a pretty good charge for it. After receiving 2 big tea pots of the same flavored tea, server/manager told us one tea bag is good for SEVERAL uses. Remembering how good the coffee was, I got one to go and this time it wasn't hot and didn't have enough flavor. Suggestions to management: preheat the mugs or use small cups and since dinners come with mashed potatoes, don't serve a carbohydrate rich side like carrots or corn, instead serve a green vegetable. No one checked on us after the meal was served.
Great food right off the highway. The food is a bit pricey ($20 to $25 per person) BUT everything from the entrees to the bread they use for toast is handmade in-house. Definitely worth the stop!
Great stop for the West Coast traveler in need of a hot, home-cooked meal. Everything is made in-house down to the jams and jellies. Huge espresso menu, and even gluten free options for the hypochondriacs.
Its homemade cooking. It was very delicious. I'd ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy. My mother ordered the crispy fried chicken she was very well enjoyed it. Will probably go back.
